Casting of ± 120 m3 of concrete for the repair of existing and construction new headwalls and wingwalls.
In-situ stabilisation of ± 4250 m3 of existing base using emulsion and cement
Surfacing of bridge decks with ± 400 t of asphalt
Repair of patches using ± 850 t of bitumen treated base and 1450 t of asphalt
Construction of ± 21 500 m2 of 6.7 mm single seal using class SC-E2 binder
Construction of ± 450 000 m2 of 13.2 mm single seal using class S-E1 binder

SPECIAL MAINTENANCE OF NATIONAL ROUTE 2 BETWEEN GEORGE AND KNYSNA

Project Description: Special Maintenance of N2 between George & Knysna

Client: South African National Roads Agency

Project Value: R124 million

Key Features: The repair and reseal of the N2 using a 13,2/6.7 double seal. Cosntruction included the upgrading of the Kaaimans Pass in order to improve safety.

Project Description: National Route 1, Section 9, Special Maintenance Bultfontein (km60.0 to ogelstruisfontein (km83.5)

Client: South African National Roads Agency

Project Value: R68 million

Key Features: The widening, upgrading and rehabilitations of approximately 25 km of national road. Construction included the widening of drainage structures, the widening of the road over its full length, the in-situ stabilization of the existing base in order to construct a new subbase,the construction of a new G1 quality base layer and the construction of a Cape seal.
